I knew Tiger wouldn't win and I'm glad he didn't. It's always embarrassing watching Tiger pout around the course and throw his clubs everywhere while letting out "Damnit's!" every five minutes. For as good as he the guy sure can't handle not playing well very maturely. He's the only guy you constantly see pounding his clubs into the ground and mouthing expletives.

Good for Cink, glad he finally won a major. Great effort by Watson though. It was amazing to see a guy at his age compete like he did the entire weekend.

I agree he does it more than he should but he's the only guy you see constantly doing it because the camera is on him the entire time he steps on the course. There are other players that are doing it quite as well but they aren't on camera as much so it goes unnoticed. I believe the PGA has started to fine players for dropping expletives but doesn't disclose the amount. Now granted, the fine won't hurt Tiger but it's a step in the right direction.

If in every other sport complaining and swearing etc is "part of the game" and "shows that players care" why is it "immature" in golf? Stupid, stupid comment to make. As was already mentioned, Tiger is shown every shot he takes so obviously he is the only guy you really see when he is actually playing bad, other players when they play poorly are not shown, Tiger is though. Very ignorant comment.
A pessimist is always alone. An optimist is always just two people away from a threesome.

Golf is not like every other sport. Golf is considered a "gentleman's game" and swearing, throwing clubs, etc is generally shunned upon. I don't see how that's a stupid comment to make. Just because swearing and acting like a thug in one sport is considered normal doesn't mean it's okay for someone to act that way in a different sport.

That argument is weak too. There are plenty of other big name golfers that get tons of coverage on the Golf Channel and into the weekend when NBC or CBS gets the coverage. Guys like Phil and some of the other rising stars are shown whether they're hitting good or bad shots. I've never seen Phil react the way Tiger does after hitting a bad shot. He shakes his head, shows some disgust on his face but he never throws clubs or visibly swears.

Tiger is a whiny little baby that gets a free pass because he's Tiger Woods and I'm honestly sick of it.

To bam or not to bam, that is the question.
