I am creating this one a day early as I will be gone til Monday night. So WHEN the Brewers take the series from the Reds, please feel free to temporarily start the Braves thread for me on Monday. I am assuming tomorrow we will be looking at this thread and saying, "Holy crap. Did we just sweep a series?" It doesn't matter who the wins are against, a win is a win at this point. The big question is, who will still be on this team in August?

Looking ahead at Milwaukee's schedule ... in August, the Brewers have 18 home games at home & only 7 on the road.

Not sure that is a good thing though as it pertains to this year's Brewers team....

The Brewers are currently a respectable 20-22 on the road, but an abysmal 15-26 at Miller Park.

So with the win today, the Brewers run their winning streak to eight games.... With that said, Nelson, Fiers and Jungmann have throw really well in their six starts during the streak. They have combined to go 4-0 over that stretch and haven't given up more than four runs in any of the six starts.

If that continues, the Brewers could see themselves leaping over the Reds in the standings before the end of the month.
