Aw crap, DeRosa just was traded to the Cards.

So what, welcome to a sinking ship.

OK that actually sucks for the crew. But, just go out and win. Thats all we have to do.
Only April, and I'm looking forward to Badger Football. Depressing!

Haha, what a game tonight...

These are the ones that are good to get. Left for dead in the 9th and boom stolen...totally changes the the series and home stand. I love it. (So does my fantasy team) Thanks Prince.

Hart is not an average fielder, let alone above average.

You know for being such a pure hitter, Gamel has missed a lot of easy fastballs so far.

I agree with DB, Hart is not above average, and although Ryan doesn't make errors he doesn't have the range or arm of an above average outfielder.

Braun doesn't have the range yet, but he continues to improve out there. He does have a pretty good arm.

Hart makes plays at times, but he isn't special in any regard.

Suppan needs to start dropping his non-fastballs in for strikes...simple as that.

You can't nibble and then have to throw a meat fastball in hitters' counts. You get killed that way.

Another less than quality start for the twelve million plus dollar man while the offense again has big problems hitting a rookie pitcher.

What Mike Cameron just did is stunningly bad, and incredibly un-veteran-like.

Bases loaded, 1 out, facing a lefty and he tops the first pitch into a ridiculously easy 4-3 double play.

That really, really hurts.

Wow.

Which is why I've been saying for a while that he shouldn't be playing every day at this point, not until he goes on another hot streak, which should be right around the all-star break going by his recent history. Unfortunately with a lefty on the mound today there really isn't any way to get him out of the lineup today.

Hoffman is a veteran and has said it doesn't matter to him, but he has been pretty bad in non-save situations this year, especially lately.

that catch in the 7th is why he plays everyday, nobody else would've made that catch

When Cameron is going as bad as he has been offensively, his defense does not make up for it.

Really, you want JJ playing everday through a slump because he's a solid SS, but we don't want a guy who saved the go ahead run in the 7th defense out there, I dunno Pete, I just disagree, Cameron is an invaluable asset to a Milwaukee outfield that without him is below average at best. His range is a huge tool and not only does he make the plays that you expect he makes a lot more of plays that you don't expect.

Thank god McGehee is on fire and Counsell is having a .300 season.

Gamel's good, it just seems like he is trying to do to much when he comes up to bat. It looks like he is trying to force the big hit when all he has to do (especially when he's batting 2nd or 9th) is get a base hit.
The Brewers will finish 90-72 and earn the #1 WC berth.

Carlos Gomez will have a 30/40 season (HR/SB) and win a 2nd Gold Glove en route to an All Star selection.

How many games did JJ get off during his slump and how many has Cameron gotten off during his? I'm not saying Cameron shouldn't play at all during a slump, but he shouldn't be playing every day either. Same with JJ. If he's slumping, I understand getting him a day off a week or so. But that doesn't happen with Cameron. Plus J.J. plays more of a premium defensive position than Cameron, and in my opinion is a better defender at this point than Cameron.

Also, I would argue both Braun and Hart are above average defenders at this point, with both having shots at being Gold Glove caliber.

Who would you rather have out there??

Out of which options, Braun and Hart? Not sure, in what you bolded I'm just discussing Braun.

I am curious who you would rather have in LF than Braun?
