Vincent and King made it....id say yes about the recruiting but people may be upset about that. I know of a couple instances but DB1985 probably has a couple stories about recruiting in the city.

Speaking for Vincent, they do not recruit. I know first hand Diener would not do this. The program there has been top notch for so long. For 8th grade kids in the city, if they can play, they will put Vincent down as their first choice. Probably unlike most other schools, the first day of basketball practice is unreal with more than 100 kids trying out for basically 24 spots (JV and Var.). I have never seen that before. With numbers of kids like that who want to play for Vincent, why does the program need to recruit. The program speaks for itself-much like some area suburban schools in football. With that said, you will always have people saying "Oh they must recruit". That's BS. Bottom line is that you will always have those people who are jealous and look for the wrong reasons as to why a program is successful.

ok well thats not the best evidence but whatever. I mean people have transfered to their school to play and some people might consider that recruiting, who knows what goes on behind closed doors. No one may not know about anything that happens because they want to keep it low key, but again that might not be the case either, so who knows what happens unless u r there.
