After Day 1 it appears fighting_irish and goldball are at/near the top of the standings with Bat Man within shouting distance. There were quite a few people who went 1-3 on the D1 predictions today. []

What's the story with Kimberly? 12-12 overall and 6th place in the Fox Valley???

...and they beat Verona last night! Wow. They did say that 6 of the 12 losses were by 5 pts or less!
"Friday night butterflies, like clockwork they arrived,
Little chill in an October sky, nervous 'til the kickoff came,
Four quarters win or lose, spent Saturdays black-n-blue, but it was what I loved to do, and it was more than just a game."

I think Kimberly does this a lot. I know they went 2 yrs ago and had a not great record. They know what it takes in the postseason and they focus in on the goal at the end of the season. They had a tough time aginst Vincent tonight though. The score may have been a little close but every time it got close Diante Garret would score at will. Theres no doubt he is the best in the state. I had a great conversation with Tom Diener (head Vincent coach) in the hot tube at the hotel this morning and he is a great guy. I hope they win tomorow and I'm sure they will. On the other hand Tim Jarmuz has been very disappointing for a badger recruit. He has been playing terribley. Mabye he will pick it up in the championship game. By the way I did find a computer down here which is nice.

It should be a great game Saturday night....Vincent vs West. 2 great teams with gold ball trophies in their trophy cases and 2 great coaches!

Double check your own, but I've got:
goldball 11-5
fighting irish 10-6
nwhoopz 9-7
splunk 8-8
maxgolfpro 7-9
hawkswaterboy 7-9
Bat Man 5-11
a fan 5-11
st croix 4-12
wiscott90 4-12
szysea 3-7 (only picked 10 games, I think)

(For future reference, it's much faster and easier to score these if you list each game and identify a winner for each game in each round.)
