Just read some reader comments and this one might be the best article comment of all time.

Adm says coach was an insubordinate bully--coach says he was insubordinate, but expected to retire on "his own terms", without ever communicating "his own terms" to the school (secret terms that have not been shared are not the same as "my own terms")---the board states their posisition as "we don't usually get involved in personnel matters, but we decided to...". The board may as well have said; " we don't usually get involved in important matters that affect the St. Cats brand, alumni interests, fundraising efforts, St Cats tradition, current and future student interest, community interest, organizational integruity or honor, but since everyone was mad with this toxic self-induced drama, we decided to wake up and save the day."

And perhaps the most accurate:

"Clearly the prerogative of the board to protect their funding interests."
"The name All-Northwest itself means something to readers of the Leader-Telegram." ?

It's interesting juxtaposing comments from certain people here to comments from those same people in the public/private thread.
The Packers/Badgers/Brewers are like your children; you don't love them because they're good, you love them because they're yours.
