I believe this is not official yet...also, on the Lions' front, Kitna is likely to go on the IR.

Time for Orlovsky to shine. He led my 2006 madden franchise to 7 straight superbowls with only 4 losses during that time.

A 1st, 3rd and 6th rounder for Williams? That is A LOT to give up especially when their offensive line needs to get younger in a hurry. How do you think T.O. feels about this?

I really like this trade for the Lions.

More importantly, what goes on the back of Williams jersey? It can't be R. Williams, it can't be Roy Williams--Do you think they go for the middle initial?

It probably will be just "Williams" or "R. Williams" since they are not likely to be on the field at the same time.

Will the coaches let Romo play through it?

Its funny what a call from Brett Favre can do for a guys confidence.

I am guessing it will be R.E. Williams and R.L. Williams

But they easily could be. On a hands team, playing defense for a hail mary, and etc. Roy Williams the Safety already does the R. Williams thing, so I could see the WR having to also. I want them to go middle initial, because what other occasion could there be?

im not really getting this, even as a fan i gotta take the blinders off at some point. williams is a great talent no doubt, but the cowboys have bigger needs presently. it seems more and more like jerry jones is trying to george steinbrenner this team, and its obviously not working.

I agree this seems like a lot to give up. The six rounder is essentially a swap with the Lions for their 7th round pick. Lions 7th should be early in the round and the Cowboys 6th should be late in the round so those are almost a wash, but I still think a first and third is alot to give up for him.

This is not the first time the Jerry Jones has overvalued or overpaid for a WR. He has to be one of the last GM/owners to part with 2 first round draft picks for a franchised player...Joey Galloway. We all know how that turned out.
