Two Words: Drinking Age. The guy will then be 21 and be drunk all the time, thus hindering his performance. Don't believe the hype.

And the question, who will be the better player, is tough. Who will have had the better career up until that point? Probably Pujols. But a very good question. All are at different positions and all are studs. I'd say you won't go wrong with too many of them.

You really cant say who is going to be good in 5 years. There could be a 19 year old prospect out there that in 5 years could be a great player, or the fact that someone could just start having injury problems and now and in 5 years be nowhere to be found

i think that's kind of overrated. 21 or no, if an elite athlete wants to drink, he'll get to drink. if booze is going to derail mr. hype, it's not going to matter if he's 21 or not.

I'd agree with most of those. I'd probably put Wright and Reynolds at third, although Reynolds may not even be playing there at that time. If we assume he is, then I'd take him. For outfield, I'd remove Fowler for sure. He's too one-dimensional to be considered a top four guy in my opinion. I'd probably put Kemp or maybe Either or Rasmus in there. And Jimenez would be way down on my list. Lincecum, Cain, Gallardo, Hamels, Billingsley, heck even Dan Haren over him.

I forgot about Kemp, I would actually put him on my list as the 3 guy above Bruce. He's what, 24? And he can still get a lot better, he's easily a 20/20 guy and he can become a regular 30/30 guy. I thought about Reynolds but he's a poor mans Dunn at 3b, I forgot about Wright but I think Stewart has more power than Wright and once he learns MLB pitching his average can be close too. I like Fowler a lot, he's a tall skinny kid that can still put on a lot of muscle. He can take a walk too as his on base is around 100 points higher than his average. I'm a huge Jimenez fan, this guy has unbelieveable stuff that he's just learning to harness. He can throw 100 as a starter with a slider in the high 80's and a change up he's just starting to get used to. He's on pace for 221 innings and 200 k's with a 1.31 whip, all this pitching in Colorado. He's on pace to walk 13 less guys in about 23 more innings so he's improving his control. This is only his second full season starting in the bigs and he's only 25, remember what he did in the playoffs as a rookie?

dang...3 colorado guys...do you think they are going to be the team to beat in the next few years in the NL West or at least top 2 with LAD?

I think the NL West will be a top division in 2-3 years...a pretty big turnaround from the last few years

I can pretty much agree with that line-up.

In the OF, guys like Matt Kemp, Nick Markakis, Jacoby Ellsbury, and Jay Bruce have a chance.
At 1B, I'm a fan of Joey Votto.
Robinson Cano has a chance to be one of the top 2B as well.
At 3B, you obviously have David Wright and Ryan Zimmerman.
Jose Reyes and Troy Tulowitzki also will be up there for SS.
