I heard a rumor today that Troy Bauer (T-Unit14) could possibly take over the Mayville football program. Given Bauer's football, and general sports knowledge, this could bring Mayville football back to the top of the conference.

It says right in the message that he is Troy Bauer. I can't believe it took you 8 days to respond to the post. Anyways, I've heard he has a pretty good staff lined up. Bauer himself will coach both the offensive line and quarterbacks since he was a standout at both positions.

From what I understand he's also gunning for the varsity baseball squad.

Being in sales is tough. Just when you think your day of rejections is over you end up going home to your wife for a couple more rounds.

why would someone want to take over such a dismal program? granted this legend known as Troy Bauer couldn't do any worse then the current coach but why would he want to take over such a program when he could coach a solid program in Leroy?

its hard to rebuild a program when there are so many coaches coming and going like a revolving door...it will be interesting to see who they bring in for the football job...there's a candidate or two who might bring some familiarity to the program...

Mark Pankow is the new coach for Mayville. Disappointed it wasn't Pinetar or Brickson but I've heard nothing but good things about this guy!

I think the downfall of the Mayville football program began in 2004 when my Waupun Warriors beat you for the first time since 1980.
