i was just looking around the wiaa website and saw the divison 3 regionals for basketball were changed again this year, ( 3rd time in 5 years) and i no im the one who complained about talking about basketball already but i saw that necedah and brookwood got absoultly shafted. having to go to the likes of Auburndale montello paredville pitsville tri county and wild rose. i no that d3 is spread out but this is ridculious how our division gets spread out beyond belief. between the two divisions the SBC is represented in 4 different regionals. i really think the easiest way to solve this would be to change the private schools around so that they couldnt come down and take half the D3 spots. then the D3 teams would be closer. for D4 while spread out it is not as bad for the teams with the exception of cashton and royall they have some far trips. maybe even new lisbon not sure on the distance to port edwards and loyal from there. but w-c and hillsboro are paired with a few ridge and valley teams which is not terrible i no this is a lot of complaining but the WIAA needs to look into this becasue sending teams hours away for a first round regional game is just dumb.

Well good thing you "no". Also to what Ethan said. I know of worse d1 sectionals for traveling then most d3s.

No one must have told you, the WIAA has little care for small schools and what's in their best interest.

Also, granted I haven't heard of most of the teams in Brookwood and Necedah's regional, but maybe that means one of our D3 teams has a shot at winning in the first round for once.
Well sir, while I may not agree with what you say, I'll defend to the death your right to say it.

Every thing is funner with a runner!

Cross Country. The 3 miles are easy, but the .1 really hurts!

the teams in Bwoods regional usually are really decent teams. Wild Rose they will be good Pardevill will also. and these are very long trips. As for port Edwarads and Loyal. Those will be long trips for the teams from this area to travel to also..It is just dumb

On the upside, we all may get to see different schools instead of the same old same old, right? I always liked that when we traveled for tournaments back in the day (Royall jumped up to DIII in most things, traveled to GET, Arcadia, Mineral Point, Wild Rose etc).

Exactly, even regular season games where you would take on teams from the Six Rivers and whatever other conferences may be around.
I will not apologize for being awesome.

brookwood is no stranger to seeing diefferent teams come the post season. this is there 4th different regional in the last 5 years. and i also agree becasue it keeps you interested to see what other schools are doing around the state so you no where your team stands, granted that doesnt always matter becasue the sbc gets very little respect.
