To be quite honest, these rankings really mean absolutely nothing and are really worthless. Coaches rank these teams on returning players and program reputation. That is why you consistently see the same handful of teams in the top 10 each year. Unfortunately for Wayland, the way that their conference is set up they really don't play against very good teams.

I know brett's a good guy, I was saying think what you want about him because a lot of people think he's hype, I happen to think he's a pretty solid ball player

To Wiscott: Yes, that is the site where the rankings will be updated as soon as the season begins. The rankings that were posted were found in the Wisconsin Baseball Coaches Association Preseason Yearbook (which I have memorized after day 5 of having it, so sad []). Look for them to be updated on a near weekly basis.

To Jake53098: The rankings are compiled from WBCA member coaches from around the state.

Editorial: In addition to the Top Ten D1 schools, look for Kenosha Tremper, Baraboo, Reedsburg, Stevens Point, Beaver Dam, Sheboygan South, Janesville Craig to hopefully have outstanding years. (Sorry Seed for the typo! [&o][])

In D2, I like Waupun and Jefferson to have good years and Horicon and Mayville in D3 to compete at a high level as well.

Mayville and Horicon are D2.

watch out for Watertown Luther Prep..They only loose two starters and return all their pitching. Starting 6 of 9 are seniors and 3 juniors. 1 junior starting since freshman year...this should be a good year for WLP.

Waupun??? D2

Yes, according to the WIAA website, Waupun is in the Division II tournament in the Mayville Sectional and Regional A. Waupun will also rejoin the Wisconsin Little Ten for baseball after leaving the conference in 2005. (Conference they are joining for most other sports plays Summer baseball).

If he was that much of a stud why did he go to MATC grades or what cuz there team isnt that good is it? Or is he looking to get drafted

Depends which MATC he's talking about. If it is Madison, their baseball program is pretty solid, winning three NJCAA National titles in the last 10+ years.
