A bigger issue than QB is WR IMO. They have no one. It's really not good.

Considering this, probably better to either roll with McEvoy at QB and just run 75% of the time, or put him back to WR.

If history is any indicator, look for Erickson and Frederick to be the breakout receivers.

I have faith in Erickson being a decent WR. Unfortunately he was injured in the bowl game and had to miss all of spring ball. Hopefully that doesn't hurt his development.

Who was 1st string for the O-line?

With Dan Volz & Dallas Lewallen out with injuries, the 1st-String O-line in Saturday's scrimmage consisted of true freshman (2014 Spring semester early enrollee) Michael Deiter at center, guards Ray Ball and Kyle Costigan and holdover starting tackles Tyler Marz and Rob Havenstein.

One would think that among Jordan Frederick, Alex Erickson, Reggie Love & Rob Wheelwright, a couple of WRs who want it badly enough would emerge. Apparently not!

I'm not saying they will be any good, but Fredrick, Erickson, and Wheelwright were all out with injuries for most if not all of spring ball. Love actually looked decent.

The coaching staff must have some faith in him, as the former walk-on was awarded a scholarship today.

I just walked by Qdoba on Water Street and saw Gary Anderson sitting by the window chowing on some nachos. I wonder what brings him to Milwaukee.

The WR issue could be solved when the 4 freshman come in as well, as none of them were involved in spring practices. They had a 4-star athlete in Watkins that could be in the running for the top spot.

Would that be the soon-to-be no longer "World's Largest Qdoba?" [rotfl]
