Air ball 3 and the badgers on the line. Trae needs to put these in

These officials suck. Jackson was fouled way after he passed the ball ahead. That ended up costing them an easy two points.

Take care of business the rest of the regular season and get one win in the BIG Ten Tournament and Milwaukee for opening weekend of the NCAAs is almost guaranteed.

Even more impressive these past two wins is that they came with Brust really struggling.

Living in Des Moines, this could be a lot of fun these next few days. Kaminsky is a shining example of Bo Ryan's abilities as a coach with his improvement this year.

Not to hit the refs again, because thats not my style normally, but they are letting Iowa get away with murder on rebounds...

Huge win for UW today! It keeps their very slim, outside chance of tying for a conference title alive.

It was also nice to see Koenig come alive today and shoot the ball with confidence despite not shooting well in conference play.

Brust was hurt in practice this week. He even sat out practice on Wed. He will come around sometime in the future.

Final Score

Nothing original here .... but these road wins for the Badger this week were HUGE! Expect another bump in the all-important RPI and another jump in the human polls.

Frankie is my guy ... he is so versatile on the offensive end, teams have to account for him at all times & at all points on the floor, thereby making Bucky's perimeter-heavy offense just that much more eefficient. IMO, he is a legitimate "game-changer" within the scheme of the Badgers' "swing" offense. And, I'll take freshmen Nigel Hayes & Bronson Koening for my team every time. One of things that tells me Hayes is the real deal, has the proper attitude & can take coaching, is his improvement over the last 4-5 games or so at the FT line. You can tell he has worked on that early-season deficiency and wants to get better as a player and a scorer. And I really like Bucky's offense when Koening is out front, running the team. I do not recall the Badgers ever having this much scoring depth. Bucky currently has 7 scorers, when in many seasons, under Bo, they've been fortunate to have more than 2.

Another observation: The Big 10 officiating has been more balanced and fair to road teams this season, than I ever remember. And "Ever" is a long time in my 50+ seasons of following Big 10 basketball. Granted, there is currently a lot of balance & a number of very good teams in the Big 10, .... but, IMO, the officials are calling the games much more evenly than in the past & consequently there have been more road wins in the Big 10 this season. I believe Wisconsin is 5-2 on the road, in the conference, so far this season. And, conversely, UW has 3 conference home losses for the same reasons.
