The Badgers have announced an oral commitment by 6'5" 245 lb tight end Cameron Large of Noble & Greenough Prep, near Boston, MA.

Large selected UW from his final 4 schools which also included Alabama, Georgia & Ohio St.

Large stated his decision to attend UW was greatly influenced by his host, freshman QB Graham Mertz,  and UW's heavy use of tight ends in its offense, during his spring visit to Madison.

Badgers maybe got another gem RB from New Jersey today with the commitment of Jalen Berger.  Coming out of Don Bosco Prep, he is one of the top RB's and with his addition, gives the Badgers a top 20 recruiting class.  He is is a strong runner and has the ability make people miss.  What separates him from a lot of others is his ability to catch the ball and then run after it.  He could be a WR really.

He will get carries next season.  He has the potential to be in the conversation with all of the other RB's that have come through Madison.  He is 205 pounds right now and combines speed and elusiveness with power.

I am very impressed with this recruiting class.  Some top notch players and sound like people also.  The future looks bright for the Badgers - based on recruiting anyway.  Now, it will have to pay off on the field in the next 4 years.  Add in the red-shirts from this year, there is talent all over the roster, especially on the OL.
