So I see Oregon beat Milton last night...way to go Panthers! Any idea how deep the bench is for Oreogn? I see only 5 names in the box score, I though the WSJ lists all players who enter the game, regardless of if they score or not.

Oregon dressed 10 and all 10 saw the court in the first half. However though 10 play a bulk of their scoring, as it was against Milton, is going to come from Hinz and Gorman as they are their main offensive threats.

Thank you Michael, or should I say Nostradamus? Your insight on Oregon's for sure ascend to the top of the conference was very enlightening.

I hate it when people present pure opinion as if it were inevitably fact.

Oregon has a few good juniors that will contribute alot this season. Adams Gorman, Evan Ackers, Corey Byrne. Untill Senior Alex McCauley Return from an Injury suffered during Football. By mid season they will be a top team in the conference

Milton will surprise alot of people this year they only lost Walters..Knudtson had a great summer..Nate Hammen jumps outta the gym an is the best athlete in the confrence..Sam McCann was hurt most the year last year an will be dominate this year..Brandon Ross the best Sophmore PG an should start w/ knudtson b the 4th or 5th game...They also have mitchell trewyn a 6"7 senior an Eric Bolden an 6"6 Sophmore ply for the madsion spartans an will get alo of playing time.....Milton should win confrence the next 3 years

Not off to a good start. Milton appears to be very ... undisciplined. Again tonight, a kid gets
"T-eed" up at a critical time. Chippy fouls and mouthy players.

Buuut ... McGann is REALLY good ... really good! I was very impressed with him. Knutson ... did not impress ... to say the least. McCarthy seems to be a bit of a head hunter. Hammon is a good athlete (VG Leaper), but his "T" hurt big time.

When you score and take the lead with .8 seconds ... then fall for the oldest trick in the book ... fouling the guy setting the pick for the inbounds ... congrats to Coach Z.

I would have to say Oregon is in the same undisciplined boat. Saw them play MG and Oregon looked awful. Not sure how they beat Milton. Oregon must have committed over 35 turnovers, failed to break a soft press, took many poor shots, didn't play as a team and was outrebounded by a smaller team. They were also outcoached; didn't see any adjustments after halftime to cure the turnovers and press break. At this point, since it is the first Oregon game that I saw, I'm not sure if Oregon is that bad or MG is that good. I'm guessing there is some middle ground. I did find it interesting that Oregon was late coming out of halftime. MG was ready to start the third quarter and Oregon was still in the locker room. I don't see Oregon winning many conference games because at this time they don't seem to have the discipline to take good shots and protect the ball. Maybe that will change against Monroe on Thursday but I'm guessing Tordoff and company will have their way with Oregon. It will be a good night if Oregon can keep it within 10 points. Murphy always gets the most out of his teams and always has them ready to play and I am sure last year's loss to Oregon will be big motivation. With the early returns, it looks like most of you hit it on the head when you said Edgewood, Stoughton and Monroe would be the top three teams. I thought Oregon might be that fourth team but it doesn't look like much has changed with that program. A small senior class along with an inexperienced junior class isn't going to put fear into the better teams. If Milton can get it together, I see them as the fourth team with Fort, MG and Oregon battling it out in the second division. I do have a question regarding Oregon's late halftime arrival. Could the refs have simply given MG the ball to inbound while Oregon was still in the locker room if it was MGs possession? If not, is there some delay of game penalty? Just curious. Also, has anyone ever seen a team not get out of the locker room on time?
