Strange as seeing how multiple times I have admitted that I was wrong. This was largely pointed out when I called out A=A for NEVER admitting he is wrong.

If I ever "admitted" I was wrong, then I'd be a liar. I don't want to be a liar. []

You definitely aren't lacking for self confidence sir.

Well played.

Kentucky clearly dominated college basketball in 2011-12 and was clearly the favorite to win it all year long.

But some people here are playing it off like Louisville was an after thought that got hot in March and won it on a run like UCONN the year before.

Pointing out Louisville's 3 game losing streak is more revisionist history than anything. That was clearly just a small blip on an otherwise amazing resume. They won the Big East regular season title. Although someone suggested they got 4th?! This was a team that was highly ranked all year. Only during that 3 game losing streak did they slip out of the top 10. Again they were #1 in January. Clearly people thought this was a great team at that point.

But I digress. If you all want to pretend like Louisville was an under the radar team that got hot in March to win the title, then nothing I can say or link is going to change your mind.

I know how this blog works. When the Badgers win they are the best team in the nation and just don't get respect. When they lose in the tournament in the 1st weekend, the RNG excuses fly everywhere.

Again, call a spade a spade.

They finished in a three way tie for the Big East title... If they were as dominant as you believe, wouldn't they have at least won the league outright? For comparison, Kentucky won the SEC by six games in 2011-12.

As far as calling a spade, a spade, how's this?

Anytime someone disagrees with you (regardless of the subject) they are wasting their time debating with you. You already have your mind made up about things regardless of the points the other poster makes and they have no chance of getting you to see their side of things. Sound about right?

I feel like Mark Titus hit the nail on the head for what happened with Wisconsin at Indiana. Still keeps them at #4, because they deserve it

Quote:
Bo Ryan has had a ton of success with his system at Wisconsin, but I don?t think it?s a coincidence that this year?s team ? his best ever ? happens to be his most non?Bo Ryan team ever. I also don?t think it?s a coincidence that Indiana got over the Wisconsin hump Tuesday, largely because the Buzzcuts played like a non?Bo Ryan team. Wisconsin?s staples over the years have been hard-nosed defense, fundamental offense, flawless execution, and unselfishness. Until Tuesday night, Wisconsin had maintained these staples, and this team was so good because even though it still had swing offense concepts (all five positions are interchangeable, everyone can post up), it got out in transition more than previous Wisconsin squads, and that led to more quick and easy scoring opportunities. I wouldn?t be surprised if this year?s Buzzcuts have taken more shots with 25-plus seconds on the shot clock than all of Bo Ryan?s other teams combined.

Tuesday night, though, Wisconsin abandoned its staples. The Buzzcut defense was awful. When Indiana went zone, Wisconsin?s offense stalled as its players stood around the 3-point line and passed until somebody finally forced the action. Worst of all, Indiana outworked and outsmarted them down the stretch,5 which is something that NEVER happens to Wisconsin.

Look, Wisconsin was going to lose at some point, and dropping a game at Indiana is nothing to be ashamed of. If Wisconsin hadn?t gone ice-cold from the 3-point line in the final 10 minutes, it would probably still be undefeated, so I?m not going to overreact here. Also, I think this loss will be good for the Buzzcuts. Now they know that even though they?re one of the best teams in America, they certainly aren?t good enough to forget who they are. They have to play Buzzcut basketball.

I continue to stick with my December comment. This Badgers team needs to hedge on screens because the soft play on high pick and rolls is killing them. That and the fact they are playing horrible defense isn't helping. And as far as the team goes, this is what I expected to see from them all year, 4th place int he Big Ten, so I am not as much disgruntled as I should be. We got spoiled with their great start and expected them to maintain that all year.
