at Purdue (11-9 Overall, 4-5 Big Ten) 70
Wisconsin (12-8, 5-4)  51

Final Score

Another UGLY road performance by the Badgers ... shades of the Michigan St game a week ago.

Key Stat:  Bucky was out-rebounded by the Boilermakers 42-16 for the game.  Purdue had as many offensive boards (16) as Wisconsin had total caroms for the game.

While D'Mitrik Trice has picked up his performance over the past 2 games, Kobe King has almost disappeared, going scoreless vs Purdue.

Wisconsin returns to action Monday night (1/27), on the road again, at Iowa ... tip-off is 7:30 pm CST ... Television is Big Ten Network (BTN).

Don't make shots...don't rebound...lose games.

The difference between this unit at home and on the road is quite staggering.

Oh well, at least they didn't pull a Wojo/Marquette last night.

This may have been uglier than the loss at Michigan St. and that is hard to imagine.  To just get manhandled on both ends of the court like they did was really hard to watch.  It was like they were a high school team playing a college team.  The problem with Tuesday night was it gave guys confidence to shoot and settle for the 3.  Many times last night a gap attack was there or a run out by Purdue and instead of going at them, a 3 would get launched and then they would rebound and run out.

The inconsistency of really the entire rotation is hard to understand - outside of Wahl  He is young and will go through some ups and down, but the others can't use inexperience as an excuse.  As I watch and we are on the outside looking in, at times, it looks like some guys know when the last time they took a shot and it is time to get one up.  I would bet that if you ask this team who is your go to guy - who do you want to have their hands on the ball to take a last second shot - you would get 4 or 5 different answers.  And some guys would probably say they would be that guy.

Heading into Iowa will be a hornets nest and it is really an unknown of what to expect.  It would not be a surprise to go there and win by 5 or lose by 15.

this team must have a really low iq, how can you continue to bomb away from 3 when they are not falling? I don't get the thought process behind that?
