BB isn't going to let Welch cost them any more points. I think Borland kicked that last PAT.

He did...

Borland is probably the greatest football player alive

You are a better person if you spend time with Chris Borland.

Was Borland also a kicker for his HS team? I don't see that in his bio. I was surprised to see that he was a Tennis letter winner. Shows his athleticism

Borland kicked all of the PAT's after Welch missed his.

3 PAT's in total.

The concern about the officiating is magnified when combined with the concern about Hawaii becoming bowl eligible with a victory & the opportunity to play its former coach's current team in the Hawaii Bowl. Does that clarify what I'm trying to say?

Looks like my pre-game concerns were rendered unecessary.

I thought the Badgers looked very crisp on both sides of the ball & special teams (other than Philip Welch's continued struggles). IMO, this was the most complete perfromance of the season by Bucky. Kudos to the secondary & d-line for holding Hawaii's #3 nationally ranked passing game to under 200 yards. The kick coverage teams were solid as was Gilreath on his returns. And, what can you say about the rushing performances of John Clay (24 carries, 172 yds) & Monte Ball (15 carries, 95 yds) and the passing of Scott Tolzien (16 of 20 for 253 yds, 0 int's). Clay now has 1396 yds on the season & Tolzien has 2445 yds passing , which is the 3rd best mark by a Badger QB in a season. Also this was the 11th game this season out of 12 in which UW held the oppostion to less than 100 yds rushing (Fresno St rushed for about 190 yds in UW's double-overtime victory in Sept.).

Statistically, UW dominated the game. The Badgers had 554 total yds to Hawaii's 214, 301 yds rushing to Hawaii's 17 yds, 26 1st downs to Hawaii's 14, and 38 minutes of possesion time to Hawaii's 22 minutes.

Although this wasn't a ranked opponent or anything similar to that, it was still a big victory for UW for lots of reasons, including bouncing back from the tough loss at NW, the travel logistics involved & the opportunity to have a 10-win season with a bowl victory. Bring on the SEC!

Really? No way.

No not at all...This game is in jeopardy because Welch missed a FG. Don't go to bed yet, the badgers are in trouble...
