Hillsboro won 28-0

Also, from Necedah's Thursday night win, their field goal kicker who's name escapes me at the moment (last name Brown?) nailed a school record 40 yarder. Congrats go out to that kid.
I will not apologize for being awesome.

Are you feeling a little lonely NirvanaFan?

From what I have seen in the first two weeks, the Scenic Bluffs is going to be fairly inconsistent. I can see some teams being up one week and down the next. It is going to be a toss-up between Necedah, Bangor, and Hillsboro, but like I said it will be up and down. Necedah always reloads. Coach Mach continues to build a tough program. I haven't been able to see Bangor, but I am guessing they are fairly big and strong. Hillsboro is my sleeper pick. The team speed there is incredible and the triple option always make them difficult to play against.

As far as your assessment here, I pretty much agree with you. The most inconsistent will be the teams that place in the middle of the pack, which could be any combination. Until I hear different though, I'd have to say that the top three goes Bangor, Necedah then Hillsboro. Could be a wild year though!

Week 5 scores.

Necedah 20
Hillsboro 14

Royall 20
New Lisbon 14 (Royall scored on a one handed td catch with 25 seconds left in the game)

Bangor 28
Wonewoc-Center 12

Cashton 33
Brookwood 15

On a side note, in the Ridge and Valley, if I read that score right, looks like Ithaca DESTROYED DeSoto 52-14

Bangor 5-0 3-0
Necedah 5-0 3-0
Cashton 3-2 3-0
Hillsboro 4-1 2-1
Royall 2-3 1-2
New Lisbon 1-4 0-3
Wonewoc-Center 1-4 0-3
Brookwood 0-5 0-3

One more win each for Bangor, Necedah and Cashton and they're into the playoffs. Hillsboro just needs to win 2 of their next four to get in. Royall has a rough road ahead, but three out of their next four to get in for the first time in years after their first win over New Lisbon in a few years. New Lisbon, Wonewoc-Center and Brookwood each have the hardest roads to get into the playoffs, needing to win each of their next four games.
I will not apologize for being awesome.

Monsterous upset in New Lisbon tonight as NL beat Necedah (ranked in D5 by wissports I believe) 23-20. Biggest upset in the SBC in years.

Bangor 30
Brookwood 26 (WOW)

Wonewoc-Center 33
Royall 24

Cashton 32
Hillsboro 20 (DAMN)
I will not apologize for being awesome.

Bangor 6-0 4-0
Cashton 4-2 4-0
Necedah 5-1 3-1
Hillsboro 4-2 2-2
Royall 2-4 1-3
New Lisbon 2-4 1-3
Wonewoc-Center 2-4 1-3
Brookwood 0-6 0-4
Bangor and Cashton clinch playoff spots tonight in their wins. Necedah is still a win away after that upset in New Lisbon (and you can pretty much expect them to take a hit in the rankings when they come out next week). Hillsboro hit a huge roadblock tonight, but can still get two more wins to get in. Royall, New Lisbon and Wonewoc can still run the table to get in. Brookwood is officially out.

I will not apologize for being awesome.
