Way to go Abby!

"Friday night butterflies, like clockwork they arrived,
Little chill in an October sky, nervous 'til the kickoff came,
Four quarters win or lose, spent Saturdays black-n-blue, but it was what I loved to do, and it was more than just a game."

Interesting to know that the Softball coach at Indiana State is a Minnesota guy in Shane Bouman. His brother Todd Bouman is a former St Cloud State QB who played for several NFL teams including the Vikings and Packers. Todd was just named head coach at Buffalo High School, a suburb of Minneapolis. I only bring all this up to try to breathe life back into the MBC page as it appears to be completely dead.

Tough to argue when all she does is throw strikes and usually has a 10 run cushon to work with...class girl all the way

I won't argue that she was that good, but there were times she wanted a corner and I did not give it to her. She ws fun to watch over the years!

Appears everyone went to twitter. It's hard for this old dog to learn new tricks.

It was a good run while it lasted.

You have watched her up close for three years, how has she improved her pitching since freshmen year? Everytime I saw her the opponents had a hard time making contact. Does she have more pitches, velocity, location....

I would say that as a Freshman she was good but her placing of the ball was good but not great. Last year I would argue that she could place the ball where ever she wanted. Her velocity was was by far much better last year. Now, you can argue that is due to strength in maturity. Even from her sophomore year to Junior year her speed was much higher. Klopp did a great job with changing pitches. I truly think that having a good catcher like Borgeson helped too.
