Fall Creek is currently at 699 overall wins in their 45th year of the Girls Basketball program. I was wondering how many other programs have 700 wins overall. Since Girls Basketball started in the early 70's, they would need to average 15 wins per season.

I would think that Algoma is right around there. Arrowhead has to be up there as well.

Pustina has around 615 victories and I think most of those if not all are at Cuba City.

Claasen had around 450 at Pius not sure any other people!

A couple that haven't been mentioned....

-Barneveld
-Durand
-Janesville Parker
-Kimberly
-Milwaukee Washington
-Newman Catholic
-Oostburg

All of the above schools have made 10 or more trips to State, which would seem to be a decent indicator of overall success.

By comparison Fall Creek has made 11 trips while Cuba City leads the way with 16 trips.

Fall Creek defeated Ladysmith Saturday night to record their program's 700th win. Crickets All time record now stands at 700-289 in their 45th year. Need 1 win for their 400th win in the Western Cloverbelt Conference- currently 399-155 in 43rd year of Conference play.

I would like to congratulate the other Girls Basketball programs who have reached that milestone of 700 all time wins.

If anyone has an updated list of their all-time win, I would love to see it and be in awe of it. According to the replies to this topic and the coaching list, I figure Fall Creek must be in the Top 15 programs in the state with 700 all time wins.

Again, hats off to the programs that have reached the 700 win milestone, just curious where FC would rank against some of the other programs in the state.

Side note- Our Boys programs is closing in on 1300 wins also. If you want to do some more research, let's talk about that on the boys basketball forum

Hayward should be part of this conversation. I doubt there's ever been a season that they DIDN'T win at least 15 games; 18-plus is the norm. I don't recall that they've ever been lower than 2nd place in the HON Conference and they usually make a run at least to sectionals at tournament time. Three long-running coaches have been Pat McConnell, David Lee, and Joe Brennan (current).

Thought of this thread as I came across this article....

http://www.postcrescent.com/story/sports/high-school/basketball/2017/01/21/cullen-gets-milestone-win-kimberly/96874348/

So Coach Cullen has been at Kimberly since the 2000-01 season and will have amassed 300+ victories at the end of his 17th season, an average of about 18 victories per year.

With Kimberly making it to State nine times from 1982-1998, one would have to think that they are around that 700 win total as well. To put it in perspective, they would have had to average about 14 wins per season in the other 28 years before Coach Cullen took over. With nine state appearances in those 28 seasons, I would think that number is something the program might have already reached.

I think you are on pretty solid footing to think they are at 700+

While reading this thread, Flambeau instantly came to mind, as they have had a dominant girls program for years.

After a little research, it appears that they have eclipsed the 700 win mark earlier this season and now stand at 718 wins.

Here is the coaching breakdown:
Roxie Novak 34-40
Rod Ellwanger 26-8
Paul Johnson 12-5
Mike Morgan 26-9
Ross Jenkins 14-4
Ted Alberson 502-78
Steve Alberson 104-35
Total 718-179 (.800 win pct.)

In 41 years they have won 33 Conference Championships, 21 under the elder Alberson, 16 Regional Championships, 7 Sectional Championships, and 4 State Championships.

They have only reached double digit season loss totals in 2 years(1977, 2012).
