I would have to disagree with you hoops. Just because they play in the Marawood does not automaticly make them better. Sure the competition increases your edge but they did not win those games! They still lost them. Losing does not make you better, no matter who you play. Remember last year NEP beat Rib/Prentice from the same conference and most of our players are back from that team. To say they will lose by 20 is crazy on your part. Sure the conference is not very strong but they went through and won each game with authority. To say they will lose by 20 is a slap in the face to that team.

My bad it was two years ago that they beat Rib Lake/Prentice.

Ive also made this an upset pick in my brackets. I think if Marathon can hang with Stratford and Edgar then they should easily handle N/G/P. I not only think they beat them, but I think they will beat them by at least 2 TD's

Not to be picky, but I think it was Park Falls / Butternut or something like that. Same conference though.

Park Falls was an independent last year. This was their first year in the Marawood and they pretty much got manhandled.

NO CONTEST!

My hands and feet are froze but I could not wait to post this. NEP rolled over Marathon with authority. At one point there was a running clock when NEP was ahead I believe 44-6. At that point the starters were pulled and Marathon scored 20 points.

I will be more than happy to play the part of waiter and feed those who predicted wrong a huge plate of CROW!!!

Hey hoops, I'll save the biggest bird for you!!

While I can agree that in many cases an untested team has a lot to prove, I also will say that it is impossible for them to be judged inferior because they have been unable to prove themselves. It's a two way street folks. Keep in mind, that the NEP pulled back at half time of many of their games.

To judge a team by the conference can be a mistake on both sides. That's why they still play the game.

NEP played about as well as they could have. Maybe this team really is that good. I wouldn't pick against them.

I am glad to hear the N/G/P is doing well in the playoffs this year. They are one hell of a squad. Congrats guys! Keep going!
