I could see AI going to Miami, and honestly, I don't see it being a bad idea.

Trade Machine on ESPN.com says this trade would work:

Miami gets:

Allen Iverson

Philadelphia gets:

Jason Williams
Udonis Haslem
Michael Doleac

i dont think that AI and wade would work in miami. you'd have to bench one of them because AI has great handles he isnt an assist guy and wouldnt be a good pg. hes always thinking score first even when hes doubled. you cant teach an old dog new tricks. and im not so sure that wade would be good at the point either because he has a tendency of turning the ball over and driving the lane too often in most cases and finds himself trapped. id definatley say that riley would have his work cutt out for him if he did this. i hope to see iverson go to a team like minnesota in a trade involving ricky davis and maybe mark blount and a somebody else. although mark blount has been great lately the wolves need somebody to score and they need some people talking about them. garnett deserves a title and this would be about the last push for them to get KG a ring.

What?????? A.I. wouldn't be a good PG? He's a point guard right now! For his career, he's averaged 28 points, 6 assists, and rebounds a game, I'd say thats pretty darn good. That was the dumbest thing I've ever read.

AI has been a PG his whole career.

so do you think what Glenn Taylor (owner of T-wolves) said about not trading for Iverson was just a smoke screen then? Just curious.

Most good owners and GM's are not going to let a trade play out in the media. Puts a lot of pressure on the players that may be traded.

I really think it is going to happen being Philly hasn't pulled thr trigger.

From Newsday:

Minnesota has been more involved than widely reported, according to a source who characterized Timberwolves owner Glen Taylor's statements to the contrary as "a smokescreen."

"If Kevin Garnett goes in to Taylor and says, "I want this to happen,' then this is going to happen," the person said.

Randy Foye and Mike James would be gone from the T-Wolves for sure. The sixers really like Foye.

They also said it's probably going to take a 2-3 team trade that incluedes 6-8 players in order for the salaries to come within 10% on A.I.'s $17 million contract. Nothing will probably happen until after Jan. 1st.

AI has been a PG his whole career.

Well, not his whole career, he did play some 2 guard back in 2000 or 2001 when they went to the Eastern Conf Finals with Tyronne Lue as their PG.

Well, I mean he primarily has played PG his whole career. And Tyronn Lue can suck it. [:-]

I believe Tyronn Lue played for the Lakers in the Finals against the Sixers. I remember AI stepping over Lue after Iverson made that three from the corner and Lue fell over.
