Catholic Central at Racine Lutheran - I realize there's no Vos or Stoppenbach or Hartlage on this year's squad, but what a bad result last week for BCC with a potential playoff spot on the line. First of three ease-into-playoff-mode matchups for the cream of the conference this week.

Friday, 10/12

Racine St. Catherine's at Kenosha St. Joseph's - Will KSJ play after shying away against RaLu? Probably as it looks like they're healthy enough. Fun fact: Brown averaged 40.2 yards a carry in this game last year.

St. Thomas More at Martin Luther - Man, really thought STM would be more competitive against SL. The struggles continue. How long does ML play its first string?

Dominican at Shoreland Lutheran - Biggest game in the conference as there's actually something on the line...even though Dominican probably still gets in with a loss (who knew the Week 1 9-6 win over Assumption would carry so much weight?). Regardless, the Knights will definitely want a good showing to carry into the playoffs.

Catholic Central at Racine Lutheran - Good to see BCC back at it this year-- a game set of Hilltoppers is good for small-school football in the Milwaukee area-- but after last week this might be a step too far to ask of them.

Friday, 10/12

Racine St. Catherine's at Kenosha St. Joseph's - Big, big win for St. Cat's last week and now they get their historical rival, fallen on hard times. Miller hasn't been one to show mercy in the first half but expect the JV to get a lot of PT in the second.

St. Thomas More at Martin Luther - Count me another one who expected more from TM vs Shoreland. In their shoes, I'd put my best 11 on D, rep special teams obsessively, and go with some kind of misdirection-heavy ground-and-pound on offense (Wing-T, Wishbone, whatever).  Keep games close and be happy with the ones you steal.  But nah, that makes too much sense for coaches these days.

Dominican at Shoreland Lutheran - Possibly the penultimate episode of the Flying Dlugopolski Bros era. They should win this one in style

Racine Lutheran: BCC is back on the right track as a program. However the playoffs seem to be just out of reach this year.

Racine St. Catherine's: This will be a mercy kill here.
Martin Luther: Poor STM.
Dominican: Knights won't have to sweat it out here.
