Doing something different this year. No more confidence points, instead every conference game picked right will be 5 points. Non-Conference games will be four points. Way too much of a hassle adding up points.

Y'all have one week to get your picks in.

Marquette at Arrowhead - Arrowhead has some questions to answer after whatever last year was. I hear Holtz did come back for his senior year, so that should solve the troublesome QB conundrum.

Mukwonago at Catholic Memorial - The beat goes on. How long will the winning streak last?

Waukesha West at Kettle Moraine - Is this really the final year we can talk about a MacCudden playing for Waukesha West? The C8 says Hallelujah!

Waukesha North at Muskego - North's rise back to prominence and subsequent fall took less than a year. Can Muskego bounce back from disappointment (and phony injuries)?

Oconomowoc at Waukesha South - Relief? Well, here it is, Blackshirts, enjoy!

Let's hope things don't implode this year for me running these.

Friday, 8/18

Marquette at Arrowhead (NC): Rauch heard it probably after that 5-5 year last season. MUHS will give them trouble but they get the W.

Mukwonago at Catholic Memorial: Could see Muk pulling off the W here but Memorial looks like a team that will push their win streak into the 20s.

Waukesha West at Kettle Moraine: MacCudden will have a field day. Kettle is still a notch below the regular powers in the conference.

Waukesha North at Muskego: Expectations have to be low for North this year. Muskego by a few scores.

Oconomowoc at Waukesha South: Well South, wait four years and pray for a favorable move to a different conference.

Marquette at Arrowhead (NC) - Holtz' return has to be a boon for a team that needs a bona fide leader on offense. Rauch better get more than 5-5. Heat is on.

Mukwonago at Catholic Memorial - This team is gonna give all other D3 teams nightmares. Win streak continues.

Waukesha West at Kettle Moraine - MacCudden is so exciting to watch. KM remains a rung below in this conference.

Waukesha North at Muskego - Up to the Northstars if they want to keep on changing that culture there. Losing key seniors at skill spots doesn't help matters. So far, they'll take some lumps.

Oconomowoc at Waukesha South - Remains to be seen what Malling does at Oconomowoc, but they get a reprieve in the first week. South? Ouch.

Mukwonago at Catholic Memorial Homer pick, but if you are going to beat CMH probably needs to be early
