Lodi at Wisconsin Dells - Lodi has the look of a team that is ready to lord over the C-North again after a one year break. WD.... well.... thanks for being a gracious host.

Friday, 8/25

Poynette at Adams-Friendship - Toss up. Hard to gauge where each team is at, but Poynette sure didn't convince me much of what kind of team they want to be in losing to P/E. At the very least, AF went down to a decent Lakeside team.

Platteville at Columbus - Platteville has been a consistent upper half presence in the SWC, Columbus showed they got some holes being patched yet. It could go either way, but my gut is telling me Platteville, and the gut seldom lies.

Watertown Luther Prep at Kettle Moraine Lutheran - What's that, you say? Prep won last week? Not bad. I'm giving them the nod here; KML got walloped last week.

New Glarus/Monticello at Lake Mills - If it wasn't for work, I'd head to LM to catch this game. I sense a shootout here, and a shootout that could go either way. I'm going to give LM the edge because history has said since the Capitol split over a decade ago North > South, but I'd be hardly shocked if NGM won this.

Elkhorn at Lakeside Lutheran - I like Lakeside in the North this year, I really do, but I don't know if they have the dogs to beat Elkhorn. I'm expecting I'm going to get proven wrong, but gut says follow the SLC team.

Boscobel at Belleville - Is Belleville going to take that next step forward as a program? I can only hope because frankly, the South isn't that great (stop me if you've heard that before). Boscobel got smoked (again, stop me if ya heard it) themselves.

Deerfield at Cambridge - "'Member when Deerfield was one of the best programs in the area?" - 'Member Berries. Cambridge wins the rivalry game.

Marshall at Parkview - I never thought I'd say this, but I'm a little apprehensive picking Marshall here.

Palmyra-Eagle at Waterloo - Loo just loves proving me I'm wrong.
Saturday, 8/26

Wisconsin Heights at Westminster Christian (IL) (8-Man) - Heights gets the nod because I'm in the dark on Westminster. Show me we can score, gentlemen.

Thursday, 8/24

Lodi at Wisconsin Dells: Dells needed overtime to beat a mid-tier Cloverwood team in Thorp. Lodi rolls.

Friday, 8/25

Poynette at Adams-Friendship: Mildly surprised with A-F's result in week one. More stunned by Poynette losing to P-E.

Platteville at Columbus: Columbus has some patches to fill in. Should be a good game regardless.

Watertown Luther Prep at Kettle Moraine Lutheran: Well has Kettle got any more kids to come out to finally get over 20 players? Prep rolls.

New Glarus/Monticello at Lake Mills: Lake Mills looked good in a thrashing of Marshall. Same goes to NG/M but Mills will handle them here.

Elkhorn at Lakeside Lutheran: Lutheran handled A-F last week. Toss up here against a bigger Elkhorn school.

Boscobel at Belleville: Not sure on Boscobel. Belleville gets another big win.

Deerfield at Cambridge: Deerfield's struggles continue.

Marshall at Parkview: Bleh on this game.

Palmyra-Eagle at Waterloo: Intriguing to say the least.

Saturday, 8/26

Wisconsin Heights at Westminster Christian (IL) (8-Man): Heights bounces back.

I must have missed the dells and Lodi, but isn't this a Gimmie- Lodi.
AF
Platteville
WLP
LM
LL
Belleville
Cambridge
Marshall
Waterloo- would not be the least bit surprised if PE wins.
Heights

My fault for missing Lodi/Dells. I truly have not looked at any scores yet (from Thursday), but I would be shocked if Lodi didn't handily win this one. If we don't want to count it that's fair, but this is one of the no brainers this week. Just my thoughts.
