Has anyone seen any "official" attendance #'s for this year's 3-day girls' tournament at the Resch Center?

Last season, in its inaugural year in Green Bay, the girls drew just over 40,000 fans, if I recall correctly. Curious if they were able to build on that this year ...

Per Travis' twitter, total attendance this year was 36,760, down from 39,731 last year (but still 6000 more than two years ago down in Madison).

Badger Basketball Saturday night didn't help.

The general fan areas weren't the problem. The team areas were considerably smaller for almost every school this year than last. Regis had about 35 kids in their student section for their game. Mukwonago had maybe 100 for theirs. There also weren't quite as many local teams involved, with New London and Kewaunee missing out compared to last year.
The Packers/Badgers/Brewers are like your children; you don't love them because they're good, you love them because they're yours.

I don't think the lateness helped either. A lot of schools on Spring Break. Next year it is March 12-14 instead of 20-22. I still think the Resch Center is the proper venue compared to the Kohl Center.

I thought DeForest had the best student representation of the 5 games on Saturday... Kudos to them!!!!

Following Wisconsin sports from the Keweenaw.

The Chicago Blackhawks (and their fans) are to the NHL what the St. Louis Cardinals (and their fans) are to MLB.
