can we wait til august at least?

I mean for real now, you could talk about how EL girls softball is prolly gonna win conference and their success. You could talk about the air-tight race for conference champs in girls soccer. you could talk about this springs track and field result that had HG boys win for a 3rd year in a row & RL girls winning. you could focus on the upcoming summer baseball season and who's gonna win conference and if any teams have a good shot @ state now that new holstein is weaker. heck even talk golf or tennis, but just give us a couple months to talk FB. thanks...

Cedar Grove will win conference again, Tyler Garcia moves to tailback and runs for 1500 behind a new but big CG offensive line. I think your going to see the true talent of Cedar Groves Sophomore to be Junior class. Oostburg and Random Lake might be able to keep it within 14 points....(This should get somet talk going )

food for thought:
1.Tyler Garcia will rush for 0.0 yards...because he's not playing.
2. This team is not quite as smart as the last two teams, but is bigger.
3. Will win by a margin greater than 15 in every conference game.
4. Linebacker core will be the best in CLC easily. Probably in top 5 for D5.
I'd rather run 90 yards down the field destroyin people instead of running 90 yards away from people

2. I would take a smarter team over a bigger one. the CLC will be down in general this year, especially CGB losing lots of quality players
3. let's not get ahead of ourselves. games are won on the field and not on paper.
4. who's all playing LB for CGB? maybe best in CLC but top 5 in D5? come on man!

I think cedar grove-belgium will win again.
I heard they received a pretty good transfer running back from Manitowoc. He'll be a soph this upcoming year. Wisconsin has shown interest as well...

I have actually heard of 3 potential new players coming to Cedar Grove, 1 of them being the aforementioned player from Manitowoc.

"the CLC will be down in general this year, especially CGB losing lots of quality players "

everyone says this every single year. with cg going to state in 08 and multiple teams in the clc winning at least a playoff game the past few years, we, as a conference, are moving up. people leave and new young men step up.

rockets win the conference easily. their oline will be young but as history has shown us, rocket olines no matter the age have been taking it to the clc for at least 6 years. depending on how the new o and d lines shape up over the regular season, they could win a few playoff games.

how is having a top 5 linebacker corps in d5 so unbelievable? cgb had the 2nd best defense in d5 last year if i remember right. all i am saying is that its possible.
YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES!

Good news, bad news, and worse news.

Good news: Player rankings came out for 2011.
Bad news: CLC decided to have only player in any of the columns.
Worse news: The one player was tyler garcia in the other seniors column. In case you havent read the above posts, he isnt playing this year
I'd rather run 90 yards down the field destroyin people instead of running 90 yards away from people

Sounds like good news. The CLC has some top notch players. Hopefully these guys really step up their play because of the snubbing the "weak" CLC gets. I am sure we will see 2-3 teams win a playoff game again this year with a bunch of guys that are not "high calibre" players. I have heard some of the guys from Oosty have bulked up over summer and I have said it before Cedar Grove is not a team to look past just because they lost almost their whole team to graduation. Looks like people can be surprised at the end of the season when there is a slew of quality CLC players to be watched.

Just another random tidbit I heard through the grapevine. Dan Juedes, longtime coach at Sheboygan Falls, will be a volunteer assistant at Cedar Grove this coming year. The coaching staff at CG was already very solid, but this will only help the program with his experience.

Juedes is going to coach at Homestead instead of Cedar Grove.
