Hey Wiaau,

I know you used to take quite a beating in your earlier posts for how you congratulated athletes for their accomplishments...myself included. But I appreciate how you've chosen to post them now. It focuses more on the athlete, while still mentioning their team affiliations. Thank you for your updates.

Madison_bball_fan:

I believe you have me confused with another poster.

My posts typically mention the athlete/school/club team affliations, with congratulations.

Last year another club team poster drew criticism for what some critics/posters called "excessive promotion" of their team's athletes.

Congratulations to Katie Bushman of Phillips High School on her verbal commitment to the University of Cincinnati, member of the Big East Conference (Marquette, Notre Dame, UConn, Rutgers...)

Katie will be joining her Viking Club Team Wisconsin 17U teammate Val Schuster (Wausau Newman) as a Bearcat for the 2008-2009 season.

Best of luck to both Katie and Val in their senior seasons.

I just read on a recruiting website that Mike Wilkinson's little sister (sorry I don't remember her name) from Wisconsin Heights is going to MSU-Mankato. Is that correct or a web-rumor? I'd heard she was around, but haven't really heard much about her. How is she?

Her name is Ali Wilkinson and she's good. Very solid post player much like her brother was! And yes I believe she is indeed committed to Mankato State. Should be a great fit for her!

All of what you said is correct. I am from the same high school as her. I believe she averaged 18 points per game last year as a junior.
