Watertown pulled out a thriller 65-63 over rival Cooney. Watertown got 23 from Lauersdorf and a three from Adam Floyd with 6 secs. left gave Watertown their only lead of the game and was the difference. Matterson led Cooney with 15 while Dezell and Kundinger were both held to 9 points respectively.

Wisco handled St. Francis 57-41 and were lead by Whiteside and Davis. This sets up a showdown with a dangerous East Troy team.

Slinger lost to Sheybogan South by 22.

East beat West 40-33 and won the right to take on my pick for the D1 crown Oshkosh West.

Hartford's tough season came to end with a loss at Kettle Moraine who won the right to take on powerhouse Vincent.

Beaver Dam lost to a really good Oshkosh North team by 40.

Any personal reports from these games would be great. Good luck to the WLT teams that advanced.

Dexter McNeil is maybe 6-5ish and a solid inside player. Not to mention he looks exactly like Josh Boone when he played at UConn.

Both times that East played Wisco, they shot the ball very well. I didn't see them play any other teams though, so I don't know if that's a product of poor defense by Wisco or just good shooting by East (I would guess the second one). They're also a pretty physical team. They don't overwhelm you with talent but they do enough to make it a game.

Wisco's going to have to play a lot better on Thursday or their second-round jinx is going to continue. They played down to St. Francis' level for a lot of the night.
