Full slate of action last night. Watertown took down rival Cooney 64-52 with Lauersdorf putting up 24 on the strength of 6 3's. Big man Sophmore Des Smith also put up 14 pts and 12 boards. Matteson and Kundinger led Cooney with 11 and 10.

I am interested to hear how that Hartford vs. Wisco game went. Hartford lost by 2 in Wisco. Looks like the WLT race may be a little more open than we thought.

Wisco jumped out to an early lead, Hartford clawed back. The game kind of went back and forth, Hartford missed a 3 that would have tied it with about 6 seconds left, the ball went off of like 5 people's hands and right to Matt Erickson who hit a 3 at the buzzer to force OT. Wisco led the whole way in OT, they missed some FTs down the stretch to give Hartford a chance. They had the ball out at half court with 6 seconds left and a chance to tie. With 2 seconds left, Nick Apel took a 12 footer that Flavien Davis blocked into next week.

Hartford is a good team and will be right there all year in the conference race. They shot the ball very well. Wisco had very balanced scoring; Chuqee Fletcher had a really nice game and led them with 14.
