The game is available on Charter On-Demand if anyone wants to watch it (Channel 999 or Channel 001). Also, if you look close enough into the audience you see me in a singlet, so if the high quality action on the court isn't enough for you to watch, that should be.

Mr.Maymon was at the game! Nice to see him. If Memorial had gotten back everytime it would be more like the score of 66-40. Also, I couldn't tell rather it was a Football game or a Basketball game. Either way Verona wanted to play Football.

well memorial didn't play up to standards as you put it, and well im sure verona didn't play as well as they would like to play. to say it should be a 26 point game is absurd, because they did play the game and if some shots fell, or goaltending called it could have been memorials 2nd loss. We all know your bias for memorial and it does really have you blind to the quality of other teams in the conference and in the state

Were you even at the game? Did you see how many times Veona got easy layups because Memorial didn't get back?

Get used to it . Its called denying the post and protecting the lane. Think JMM is going to see a ton of pushing and shoving in the lane this year. Noticed a couple of JMM players were a bit bothered by a more physical game probably because they are so young. No Jeronne to patrol inside defensively either. Any game Vander gets into foul trouble this year JMM will be in trouble.

My bad, I was talking about their Student Section wanted to play Football, not about the game.

Wait hasn't that been JMM's MO for years? Typical JMM score for years has been created by one or more JMM players leaking out on almost every opposing team shot. JMM is great in transition but in actual half court offense they are middle of the road.

Nice win against King which just further supports the theory that the BIG 8 is best conference in the state this year.

This was Jeronne Maymon. All they had to do was get back, not everybody goes up for the ball, some just stand and watch instead of getting back.

Then that is bad defense by memorial, whoever says memorial doesn't play defense is "ignorant" according to vander in a post game interview

They played defense in the half court, not in the full court. Say you what you want, to me it was a bad defensive effort.

Hec Jeronne leaked out alot as a frehmen and even a bit as a soph but junior and senior years HE was the guy who did the dirty work inside so that others could leak out and get the easy buckets. Was very impressed with way he sublimated his game for good of the team. He could score at will as he showed at state his junior year but senior year he did what ever was needed to help the TEAM win. Big shoes to fill there.....

I will say this that Vander is not as good a vocal leader Leader as Jeronne. But, so far he prooving himself well as a lead by example guy getting it done in the competitive Big 8.
