Whitewater beat Mary Harden-Baylor 26-7  and will face St. John's (Minn.) in the national semifinal and will make 12th appearance all since 2005. Also no Mount Union they lost last week.

It's been a interesting D3 playoffs this year. Mount loses (At home no less!) to a North Central team that got revenge for a 49-42 defeat to the Purple Raiders a few years back in the semifinals.

Mary Hardin-Baylor despite it's perfect record heading into this matchup had looked mortal at times (Needed a last second field goal to beat rival Hardin-Simmons in the regular season) so them losing here wasn't going to be a big shocker.

UWW gets a St. John's team that upended a Wheaton program that after Mount Union lost, looked like a team that could make the Stagg Bowl. St. John's nearly got upended in the first round by a Don Beebe led Aurora team but prevailed 51-47.
