Who do you guys think is winning this Saturday's match up?

I hate to say it, but I'm going with Whitewater. I think Oshkosh still has plenty of weapons but as I said in another thread, guys like Sommers and Kasuboski are hard to replace, plus the game is at Perkins. Looking forward to seeing another classic.

I am going with UW Oshkosh. Yes Kasobuski and Sommers are hard to replace, but they have more depth at all skill positions than than they had last year. Plus Kasper is the best QB in the conference and Linzenmeyer is a stud. He is a great 1 2 punch with Hecker. I'm Going with the Titans 31 28

I'll take my alma mater, UWW, for no other reason than because I went there [8d]

I'm guessing that Kelly from Platteville or Yaeggi of La Crosse will continue to prove otherwise....

As expected, at least from anyone that follows the WIAC football as a whole instead of just a couple of teams....

Kelly named 1st Team All WIAC QB, while Yaeggi was 2nd team....

Kasper, Cole Wilber of Whitewater and JT DenHartog of Eau Claire all named honorbale mention selections....

I follow the entire conference actually and Kasper had a down year compared to last year but who thought Hecker would be as good as he was coming back from knee surgery. Had Hecker not been as good kasper would have had better numbers

Hecker had good numbers last year. Kasper had good numbers last year. Kasper can still have good numbers even if Hecker is having a good year.

Hecker had 105 carries this season for 642 yards and 9 TD's in WIAC play compared to 96 carries for 507 yards and 10 TD's last season.... While his average yards per carry was better this year, he had a similar number of carries (1 more carry per game this season) and TD's, so it's not like he was taking "touches" away from Kasper.

Kasper on the other hand saw a significant drop in his production. Despite attempting 25 more passes this season in WIAC play, he had just two more completions (107 vs 105) and threw for 266 less yards (1341 vs 1607) and five less TD passes while throwing two more interceptions (5 vs 3.)
