All High Schools in Canada are called Secondary schools. Just like the US they all go to grade 12. However, Quebec goes to grade 11 and in the 12 year they fight for their independence.....ok kidding on the independence part. She probably just listed that way.

LOL ah thanks for the response coach40. About 10 years ago a hockey parent was telling me when he grew up they played "A Vocational School" from Canada in football and "Got clobbered by them." He said they beat the Canadian public schools but feared that Vocational school. So I was under the impression Canada's school system was a little different than ours.

Got a chuckle on the fighting for independence. I remember when Quebec almost broke away. I see the Badger's goalie is from Quebec -A lot of Yoopers have French-Canadian ancestory (i.e. my father-in-law & a brother-in-law.... they have the French nose to prove it!) .

I wonder how the Badgers discovered/recruited her?

It seems like 3 or 4 of their top 5 performers this year are all Canadians. I think they have a decent pipeline developed.

Badgers just announced their 7-member recruiting class for 2016. 2 of the young women hail from the suburbs of the Twin Cities (St Paul Hill Murray and Minnetonka), two from Wisconsin (River Falls and Janesville), one each from Texas and Michigan (Sault Ste Marie) and one Canadian.
