Any early picks for the US Open with the major starting in 15 minutes?

My gut tells me to pick Phil but so are all the experts so that worries me. All the past champions at Pebble have been great players (Jack, Tom Watson, Tom Kite, and Tiger) so I'm assuming a top 10 player will win and now it's just picking the right one. I think Stricker will play well and I think Tiger will hold it together enough to make the cut but not be a major factor on the weekend.

My pick to win is Luke Donald. He has played very well in his last 5 tournaments with his worst finish being 24th, I believe. His last 3 have been 2nd, 1st, and 3rd so he's peaking at the right time and is very accurate off the tee which definately helps in a US Open. His short game should help him out tremendously this week as well.

It should be a great tournament and I can't wait until they tee it up!!!!

Tiger and Phil haven't looked sharp so far, Graeme McDowell has been solid, and hopefully - the USGA doesn't make the golf course look ugly on the weekend.

Davis Love tearing it up early. -5 through 12!
Without officials, it would just be recess!

Phil looked very good in round two (-5). I was watching the marquee group on pgatour.com. It was Phil, Paddy, and Y.E. Yang. It was sad to see Yang absolutely fall apart on the back nine. Went from a contender to MC in seven holes.

I could have done without that sweater vest today he was wearing. It looked like something Watson would have wore 30 years ago.
