Theres some solid teams in the Rock Valley again this year, any predictions how far the teams will go?
Jefferson, East Troy, McFarland, Evansville, Edgerton, Big Foot, Broadhead Juda.
I think Jefferson and ET are in a really tough grouping, the winner between these two face a tough Wi Lutheran team. Evansville might be able to suprise some people in their grouping, you never know? Big Foot again imo has a good shot at state. Thoughts? Predictions?

Big Foot's chances depend on how well they respond when someone finally punches them in the mouth. They have absolutely thrashed everyone they have played. In most games they were starting to pull their starters out after the first series of the 3rd quarter. No one has really challenged them for 2 qrtrs much less for four. They have a good mix of size, speed and strength so they should be able to match up with anyone they'll face.
They should dominate the first 2 levels but until they run into that level 3 game where the competition really steps up we won't know how good they really can be. As for the rest of the Rock Valley I think the boys in D-3 drew a pretty tough group so it would be a nice suprise if anyone comes out of there. I expect Brodhead and Big Foot to clash in level 2 ending Brodheads season and Edgerton is probably one and done maybe at best 2 and done.

I agree, if teams load up to stop Dixon Carter has the ability to make them pay with his arm and legs.

Big Foot by 28 over BJ who will return to BJ next year. this year showed me that a programs tradition and coaching can carry you for one yr.

Jefferson really thrashed ET that was suprising! I picked Jefferson to win but not 63-13! Must have been some injuries, i dont know but ET had a very easy schedule this year. I guess RVC best shot is Big Foot reppin the conference. Havent seen Jefferson to much but their running attack seems dominant. Wish them luck against a very solid Wi.Lutheran team. I went with a huge underdog in this region (not betting $ so why not?) and took Catholic Memorial to state in the pickem contest.[] Crazy pick if it turns out, but hope Jefferson puts on a good showing for the RVC north, and Big Foot for the south in D4

I like Big Foots chances through out the tourney, especially playing in D4. Said it last year, tough for these Rock Valley Schools matching up with other schools in D3 in the playoffs, with the smaller enrollments. Jefferson will score some points vs WISCO but don't think they can stop WISCOs option offense as nobody plays that in the Rock Valley. Yes I was surprised by the Jeff/ET score too, but heard Zaske-Dodge-KAz didn't play the 2nd time around due to injuries

Good luck to Big Foot vs. Lakeside Lutheran!

U can move it a little on big foot. The problem lies with trying to stop them offensively no one in any div in the state could hold them to less then 28pts. Then their special teams are outstanding their punter kicker to me is a div one prospect. Team speed is unreal and they have great size. I think freedom will move the ball some with that Peters kid but big foot will hang at least 35 on them

Try being a div 5 team in this conference having to beat some of these schools to qualify for div 5 playoffs. Orfordville basically lost to three of the teams by 7 pts. BJ and ET scored late to make both games 14. Pt losses. I could have seen parkview winning two ages in div 5

Very Steve Spurrieresque type comment. Only seeing them play once, Big Foot is a phenominal D4 team...one of the best I've seen in a long time. It would shock me if they don't waltz to the state title. Yet passionate, bold comments like this are always good for a chuckle. I think high school football in WI, especially in the upper divisions, may be played at a higher level than you are aware.

I've followed high school sports in this state for close to thirty years I think Big foot would do quite well at the div 2 level I'm not saying they win d2 or the d1 state title but offensively they would score 28 on 99 percent of the state. Their o line averages 280 and their not fat sloppy kids. Dixon is a absolute beast and hehr is a difference maker at qb. Their average halftime score on the season is 38 to three. They scrimmage top end d1and d2 teams and do quite well.the difference mostly lies in 4years of practicing good on good which is easier when you have a 1500 student enrollment. Make no mistake about it their very good anyone can be beat on any given night but they have a special thing going there.

well good game badgers, now keep it up. we were all wondering what would happen when someone finally punched Big Foot in the mouth and gave them some adversity. Frankly all it did was piss them off and made them even better. They made an 10-0 team look pretty ordinary. Scary. They have a beast of a running back to contend with Friday so we'll see how good that peters really is.

Which top end D1 and D2 teams did they scrimmage this year?
