What are the rewards over taking the 5 minutes to cook them? I would rather not get salmonella, and just figured the raw eggs thing was a trope. What does it do better than cooked eggs?

-"Then im really late for class. Where are my pants?"

Cooking the eggs changes the structure of the proteins. Whether or not that has a positive or negative effect, I don't know.

After 30 seconds of research (and 20 minutes of reading the study) it looks like cooking them actually enhances the protein absorption. So, according to this study (albeit 15 years old) it is better to cook your eggs if you are looking at it specifically for protein
