Here are the boys matchups for the first round:

Argyle @ Benton
Abundant Life @ Barneveld
Shullsburg @ Pec
Black Hawk @ Southwestern

Albany @ Williams Bay
Juda @ Monticello

A couple good first round matchups with Shullsburg traveling to Pec and Albany traveling to Williams Bay. Williams Bay might be a conference champ, but I think Albany has a very good shot to beat them. Pec and Shullsburg should be a dogfight.

For the girls:

Benton @ Black Hawk
Pec @ Shullsburg
Argyle @ Southwestern
Abundant Life @ Barneveld

Monticello @ Albany
Williams Bay @ Juda

Most of these games should be blowouts, but they should setup some interesting 2nd round matchups. I think Monticello will take out Albany with the way the comets are struggling right now. I also think Juda has a great chance to make sectionals.

What are everyone else's thoughts?

Also, anyone heard anything about all-conference?

All-Conf. meeting is tonight crackerjack, heres how i see it.

POY - Logan Johnson, if this isn't unanimous we need IQ of people voting
Coach of the Year - Split it between J Cap and the Monti guy

First Team-
Logan Johnson
Josh Slaney
Weston Peterson
Tyler Ritschard
Jacob Marty
Tyler Meier (sp?)
TJ Adams
Jeremy Muedt
Bryce Hurlbert
Devin Jeglum
Taylor Burg

Honorable Mention
Joey Jordan
Jason Meudt
Cody Foster
Jacob Erfurth
Derec Mieden
Corey Mcgowan
Nate Thomas
Dillon Bauman
Tony Adams (the baby dreads will get ya every time)

Barneveld and Monticello better get three first teamers because they destroyed everybody.

That's a pretty good list. I won't say who will get first team vs. honorable mention, but I will list who I think should at least get some sort of recognition.

Basically all 5 starters for both Barneveld and Monticello
The Meudts
Jeglum (who is the worst Cranium player I have ever seen)
Hulbert
Detra
Jordan
Bauman
Adams
Possibly Foster too
Thomas

There are only 2 teams remaining from the Six Rivers East after one round of the playoffs so I'm going to include Six Rivers West game as well here. Round 2 games are:

Southwestern @ Barneveld
Shullsburg @ Benton

Williams Bay @ Monticello

Seneca @ Potosi

I'm taking every single home team. After the 2nd round of the playoffs tomorrow, at best, there could only be 4 teams remaining between the two six rivers conferences.

Your right...you two are duking it out for worst player

We do need a rematch though so I can taste victory again, but looking at my schedule I don't know if that will happen until April.

Barneveld won a scrappy game with Southwestern who gave them all they could handle. Southwestern really brought alot of intensity from the players to the coaches to the fans. They gave Barneveld trouble and hung around the hole game, but Barneveld pullled it out in the end. Missed free throws hurt Barneveld.

My Benton prediction almost happened, but sets up an awesome showdown Saturday in Darlington.

I was way off on Seneca and Potosi

Monti Just takes care of business.

Senior Jacob Marty tore his ACL and is out for the season (obviously). He was their second leading scorer and brought a lot speed and length on defense to the team. This team is deep though, and handled Williams Bay no problem. They are starting to learn the new rotation without Marty. McGowan and Elzen have picked up the scoring in his absence and Meier and Ritschard continue to be very solid. Should be a good game on Saturday. I know they would like to have rematch against Benton or play a rubber match against Barneveld.
Tha future is here! Atta boy J & T!
