Despite poor shooting, and some defensive issues with Carr and Oturu, the Badgers made just enough plays in the final few minutes to eke out a 71-69 victory over the Goofs at home.

do they look like a top 25 team?

I think right now, yes they do.  Sunday was not a pretty win, but, in the Big 10, a win is a win no matter what.  At times, there seemed to be a little regression back to pounding the air out of the ball, but some guys made big shots at the end.  One possession in the 2nd half, Trice took the inbounds pass and had the ball for 15 seconds of dribble time.  Not all his fault as the others just stood and watched him, but that is something that has not been happening during this streak.

The play with about 30 seconds left I think that ended with Ford's dunk was a really good set play.  The Badgers run that high screen and pop all of the time and they were able to catch Ford's defender watching the ball and wanting to help.  That is the kind of thing this staff has done well lately.  Get away from the predictable and making some adjustments.  Despite the ugliness of the game, I thought Gard did really well managing things.

A win against Northwestern is about as sure of thing as you can get right now.  At Indiana will be an interesting one.  This team could be playing for the #2 seed in the Big 10 Tourney.  That would be huge.  Indiana is dangerous and doubly so at home.
