Missed opportunity Friday night in Denver .... untimely, complete collapse by the Brewers bullpen.

Cardinals lost to the Cubs in St Louis, 8-2 ... Nats defeated Cleveland, 8-2.

Last night hurt the chances for sure.  I was thinking the Nats would lose to the Indians and that was going to be the best route to a home game, but I don't see it now.  Sure feels like we are headed to Washington for the Tuesday game.  Hopefully Braun is just out a couple of days and is ready for Tuesday.  That will be an un-timely injury for sure if it is for an extended time.

Feels to me like the Brewers win 2 and host St Looey

If the Brewers and St. Louis end up tied, the game Monday is in St. Louis.

Another gut punch loss last night.  I guess with this team, what else would we expect than to end the season like this.  If things hold true, the Brewers will win today and the Cards will lose and we will head to St. Louis for a tie breaker game.  Nothing easy.

If we end up the season a game behind the Cards, we can look at a number of missed opportunities really throughout the season.  Playing a road wild card game has favored the road team recently, so going on the road for that game doesn't bother me.  What does is having to see Max Scherzer on the mound.

Getting to this point and then not being able to get over the hump stinks.  Hopefully today is the start of a three game winning steak.

Yzerman, thanks for saving the internet today!

OBC, to me, getting to this point is awesome!

I've never seen a run like this.
Really great team baseball!

No question Road getting here is awesome.  I just hope that the climb has not taken so much out of this team that things end on a sour note.  Getting to at least the Wild Card is a huge accomplishment considering where they were and what they have had to overcome.  I just don't want to see things end with a thud.

Cardinals go for the jugular today starting Jack Flaherty versus the Cubs bullpen game.  They could have saved Flaherty for a possible game 163 tomorrow but are going for it today.  The Brewers are throwing Adrian Houser today which probably doesn't make him able to pitch out of the bullpen on Tuesday, if they need to play in that game.

Only the Brewers could have a historic September and leave you feeling like crap at the end of it. Hideous baseball played out in Denver.

What a franchise.
