Badger power forward Micah Potter has been granted a hearing by the NCAA to determine his eligibility for the 1st semester of the 2019-20 season:

"Micah Potter will have a chance to state his case to NCAA officials.

University of Wisconsin men’s basketball coach Greg Gard said Potter has been granted a telephonic hearing by the chairperson of the NCAA’s Committee for Legislative Review.

'We’re still trying to iron out when that’s going to be,' Gard said. 'Hopefully, sooner than later. But we don’t know exactly right now.' "

How many big guys do they have on the roster? 4? 5?

That would take the NCAA admitting they were wrong on three previous occasions and I just don't see that happening.
The Packers/Badgers/Brewers are like your children; you don't love them because they're good, you love them because they're yours.

Then why keep allowing additional requests to hear his case?

I think they will simply move up his eligibility date to about a week from now and he will have only missed the first 4-5 games of the year.

"The telephonic hearing granted to Potter by the NCAA is scheduled for mid-day on Thursday (11/21/19), according to a UW official. As is stated in a document listing the policy and procedures of the NCAA Division I Committee for Legislative Relief (CLR), this hearing is the final step of what has been a long process: 'The decision by the committee is considered final with no other appeal opportunity.' "

Micah Potter's 3rd appeal for eligibility during the 1st semester of the 2019-20 season was again rejected Thursday, 11/21, by the NCAA.

Consequently, Potter will not eligible for 5 more games, taking him thru the end of the semester, 12/21/19.
