Onalaska has a shot if Central doesn't bring their "A" game and they do. Onalaska really outplayed Central for the majority of the game during their last meeting. I wouldn't be shocked if Coach Kowal has another wrinkle up his sleeve to give Central fits, he always seems to have a great game-plan for big games.

There is no way Central can allow Onalaska to hold King to only eight shots again. I thought they utilized King quite poorly in their last meeting....Central's staff had King posting up on the block and the double team forced him to drive away from the basket. The overall spacing on offense was really poor in that game. I think putting King at the free throw line area would really hinder what Onalaska could do with him on defense. It would allow King to face up and make easier decisions with ball. Backcuts & three pointers would be wide open if they ran doubles at King when he is in the middle of the floor. Also, King needs to defend Hughes the entire game. Hughes is the guy that makes Onalaska go, they waited way too long to put King on him in the last game.

Boy, nyybball, if I am an Onalaska fan, I sure hope coach Fergot doesn't read this message board....you are SPOT ON!

Kobe at the FT line with some space, vs being on the block makes him virtually unguardable, unless Ona wants to run 1-2 kids at him in addition to Sample....and if they do that the Davis kids, Kale, etc will kill them.

Ona's only shot is King fouls out....and I'm not sure they would win even if that occurs. The twins are so much bigger than the kids Ona has to guard them, not to mention Kale is a killer and Parcher is a terrific PG.

I think Central wins by 12 but would not be surprised in the least if Ona wins a tight one. Very excited to see it play out.

UGLY. Sample did a very good job on King. Shooting from both teams, esp at the FT line, was inexcusable. A very physical game, just not very well played. Central better bring more than that to their state matchups (they will crush Wausau East) or they will not win.

Onalaska just couldn't score, Hughes really is their only consistent option to score and he battled foul trouble all night. Fredrickson hardly played due to being completely ineffective. All but 3 points (other than last second heave by a freshman) for Onalaska were scored by seniors. This team is going full-rebuild next year, where are the points going to come from, no shooters unless you think the freshmen can bring that?

Central will have a nice core coming back, impossible to replace King/Kale, but they have serious size and talent, and Parcher and the Davis twins with a ton of experience now.
