is there a list of teams recruiting him for both football and basketball? I see Wisco is not looking at him for basketball. Is he looking to just play basketball?

Greg Gard, do the right thing. What is it going to hurt?

Why waste time on a player they have no shot at getting?
The Packers/Badgers/Brewers are like your children; you don't love them because they're good, you love them because they're yours.

Yeah, unless he wants Gard to kidnap the player...

How do we know that? Have they tried to make contact with him? I thought we had a good relationship with the Twin cities area? What would it hurt? Is Wisconsin that tight budget wise compared to these lesser schools that we lack the financial resources to at least show interest? I see the 2020 class with 3-4 targets? what's the hesitation with going after or showing interest in 6-8 players? I guess I don't get their rational to recruiting. like I'm guessing the 2019 class schollys are being saved for the 2020 class? The same could be said about the Hurt kid, we have little chance of getting him but there we are recruiting him. offering him. I guess someone needs to explain to me why one kids gets pursued while another gets no attention at all. Who is rated higher Hurt or Suggs?

Wisconsin is going after Jalen Johnson, Patrick Baldwin Jr. I guess I'm not buying the argument that Wisconsin will only go after players they have a legit shot at signing. But, that is why they get the big bucks. They know what they are doing.

Wisconsin has not been recruiting Hurt for at least a year or two. Some schools throw out tons of offers; Wisconsin is not one of them. They do their due diligence, and only offer kids they feel they have a shot at at the time.

what is the rationale for that? I hear they miss on one or two pretty decent instate players each year. but the program keeps chugging along.
