The Heart O' North will play its second week of conference match ups this week.

Heart O' North Standings
Bloomer - 1-0; 3-0
Northwestern - 1-0; 3-0
Ladysmith - 1-0; 1-1-1
Hayward - 1-0; 1-2
Barron - 0-1; 1-2
Chetek-Weyerhaeuser - 0-1; 1-2
Cumberland - 0-1; 1-2
Spooner - 0-1; 1-2

Cumberland lost its first conference game to a talented, 10th-ranked (D4) Northwestern team that could win the conference outright. This week they will play Barron, a team that lost to Hayward by a score of 36-60. Barron hasn't had a conference win since 2014, and that will likely continue throughout this season.

Bloomer, ranked 4th in D4, is another team that could win out the conference. They beat Spooner by 14 points last week. Ladysmith managed to beat Chetek-Weyerhaeuser after going 1-6 in the conference last year. Although they have improved this season, Bloomer should have no problems playing this team.

Chetek-Weyerhaeuser had an unexpected 6 point loss to Ladysmith last week. Northwestern got a big win over Cumberland with a score of 48 to 20. Chetek-Weyerhaeuser will try to get back on track, but they will have a tough time against Northwestern.

Hayward beat Barron by a solid 24 points to give them their first win of the season. Spooner lost to Bloomer by 14 points. This should be a pretty close game, and either team could win this match up.
