How's the M&O basketball season looking.......boys and girls?

Stick a fork in the conference thread, it is dead.

Suring is always a good program. Their coach always does a good job with his players, year in and year out. They are usually the face of the conference to the rest of the state. I think they will take conference once again this year with LaMarre and Strehlow being big factors.

Crivitz was very good last year, but i know they lost a lot of seniors from that squad. They still have decent post play with Sterry, but not too sure how their inexperienced guards are going to handle the pressure of varsity ball.

Have not been familiar with other teams around the conference, but I assume Peshtigo will be above average. They always have talented athletes. Judging by their football success this year, I think they have the athletes to compete for a top spot.

Coleman looks to be off to a good start, beating Niagara easily. I'm not too familiar with any athletes coming from that school to lead a team to a deep playoff run.

Oconto blew out Lena, and Crivitz has beaten Wausaukee. Gillett isn't off to a hot start, and STAA has been average to below average every year as far as I can remember. Looks to be another same old, same old year in the M&O.

The conf is the same ol same ol, Suring is good and everyone else is a notch below. I do think Lamarre is still out with a broken leg? Coleman looks like they could have a nice season and I would think they would finish near the top. Peshtigo looks good too. Gillett is off to a very slow start I saw that they lost to a lena team who got beat up pretty bad by a STAA team. Its a crap shoot.

Talking about players , Terry from Peshtigo looks tough as does Strewlow. Best player I have seen in this conf. is Price from Staa he is a very very smooth player who has little help.
