Arguably one of the best three point shooters I have ever watched in person.... Believe he holds the UWO record for most 3FG made in a game.

No doubt!

Joe possessed a beautiful jump shot. Smart kid & smart ballplayer too. Very good defender also. One of his few shortcomings was his 5'10" height.

According to my research over the years and additional information from Andy Banasik, Prairie du Chien has only had two 1,000+ point score in program history which is pretty surprising for a program that has had some quality players come through.

Bruce Kieser, Class of 1959, scored at least 1,259 points from 1956-59. I'm trying to locate if he played any varsity as a freshman in 1955-56 so the final total could be higher. He averaged 19.4 points per game from 1956-59. Kieser still holds the school record for points scored in a single game with 51 (on 24 made field goals and 3 made free throws) in a 114-49 win over Fennimore on 02/21/1959. He wasn't the only player in WI to score 51 points that night however! Tom Black (who played a little bit in the NBA in the early 70s) also scored 51 for West Salem in a 100-65 win over Melrose.

Jan Waller, Class of 1978, scored at least 1,012 points from 1975-78 (according to my research). I'm also checking to see if he played any varsity as a freshman in 1974-75.

As for any D1 players, the program has not had any yet to the best of my knowledge.

Marshfield Columbus Catholic senior guard Nick Malovrh surpassed the 1,000-point mark in his career by scoring 22 points in the Dons’ 80-46 victory over Gilman on Thursday night (2/8/18) at Columbus Catholic High School.

Malovrh becomes the 7th player in Don's history to score more than 1,000 points in a career, joining Bob Koch, Jason Linzmeier, Shawn Lee, Jared Fleischmann, Tyler Fuerlinger, and Hunter Schultz.
