Due respect to Northwestern and Denmark, they both are very good teams, but Martin Luther and Waupun have seemingly been on a collision course for a rematch ever since their regular season matchup. I just got a good feeling here about Waupun. Last time they came into a state title game as an underdog they went in and won it.

D3 had a couple of the better games of the tournament last year, and has been one of my favorite divisions to watch the past couple years. Based on the field, I'm curious to see if Denmark can push Waupun.

I like both semifinal matchups. I think this may be the most balanced grouping of the 5 divisions. I too want to see if Northwestern can push ML.

Denmark was my sleeper team in D3 to get to state this season. Just sucks they have to play Waupun. Martin Luther and Waupun will both blow out their semi final opponts

If the Immekus kid is raining threes (as he did against Waupun earlier this year or in the sectional final against Turner), Martin Luther is almost unbeatable...a real X-factor.

I admittedly know next-to-nothing about Denmark and Northwestern. Did catch Waupun in their sectional final, and they held off a pretty good Brookfield Academy team even with Winterfeldt being largely a non-factor. They're not terribly deep, but they play well as a team and everyone who gets PT can contribute in some way. I don't think anyone's slowing down Domask, so if Winterfeldt has a couple big games, they have a shot to hoist gold again.

I am hoping to see a Martin Luther/Waupun matchup.

Waupun cant make the mistake again of going zone and letting Martin Luther make 9 threes in 11 possessions(or something close to that). Immekus I believe had 5 or 6 during that stretch, Jeremie King had 2. A competitive game turned really quickly in the second half that night.

I think if they meet again, it will be a highly competitive game. If Waupuns 5-7 guys hit a few shots, I give them a good shot at knocking Martin Luther off. If not and Immekus has 4-5 threes, Martin Luther wins it

Martin Luther BIG over Waupun. Carrington is a little upset that he isn't in the Mr. Basketball discussion and will show it on Saturday night against the presumed favorite to win Mr. Basketball.

I saw Carrington once, the kid can play. But, he has top level talent around him, it is hard for teams to focus on just him.

Tre probably deserves a lot more than he's getting attention-wise, but Marcus Domask is having a fantastic all-around season himself. He was the best player in that sectional final by a mile.

The Mr. Basketball thing is always a bit tougher for a kid who didn't quite have the same accolades others did coming into the year and thus starts behind the 8-Ball in that whole discussion. Is it fair, no, but these awards rarely are.

At least they seem to have started to shy away from handing out co-winners.

This one looks like it is getting ugly fast. Martin Luther just too quick for Northwestern.
