Current Standings:
Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau: 6-5, 4-1
West Salem: 6-7, 4-2
Luther: 6-5, 3-2
Westby: 7-4, 3-2
Black River Falls: 4-7, 2-3
Viroqua: 3-8, 2-3
Arcadia: 2-9, 0-5

Monday, January 14:
Royall @ Westby - This game should have already happened, but I have yet to see a score for it. There was supposed to be another game with BRF @ GET, but it was postponed because of icy roads.

Tuesday, January 15:
Luther @ Arcadia - Should be an easy win for Luther as Arcadia has struggled all season.
West Salem @ Viroqua - The only problem G-E-T had with Viroqua is that their shots weren't falling in the first half. It should be another easy game for West Salem.

Friday, January 18:
Arcadia @ West Salem - Again, Arcadia should continue to struggle with this difficult road game.
BRF @ Westby - Westby dominated their last time at BRF, but like G-E-T, it seems their offense is a little inconsistent at times. I still think Westby will take this by at least ten points.
G-E-T @ Luther - G-E-T had a massive win last meeting. If they want a similar result, their defense will have to key in on their big men just like last time.

Saturday, January 19:
Prescott @ G-E-T - I believe Prescott started the season ranked, but they have gone 6-4 since including three conference losses, where they used to dominate the past couple years. Both of these teams play on Friday, so they should be tired.

My Predictions:
Luther @ Arcadia
West Salem @ Viroqua

Arcadia @ West Salem
BRF @ Westby
G-E-T @ Luther

Prescott @ G-E-T

Games of the Week:
Both of them include G-E-T, but I feel they play some of the biggest games of the season this week. Also I'm a little biased, so there is that.
G-E-T @ Luther - G-E-T wad able to get a big win last meeting despite a serious disadvantage in height. Jr. Davis Wenthe played a major role in defense on the big men, but he has been hurt the last several games, so Jr. Grant Beirne will have to fill in along with others off the bench. Will Luther get their revenge? Will this be another tight game for G-E-T?
Prescott @ G-E-T - The recent history between these two teams has been fun to watch. For the past several years, these teams have played each other in the regular season. G-E-T has won more often than not, but last year they took highly ranked Prescott to overtime where they lost. The post season has brought some fun matchups as well. In the 14-15 season, Prescott beat G-E-T in the sectional final to go to state. The following year, G-E-T, being ranked 1 in D3 and 2 in the state according to MaxPreps, bested this Prescott team which led by 7 footer Owen Hamilton. They haven't met since as G-E-T got upset by 5 or 6 (can't remember) seeded Mauston and lost to Wisconsin Dells most recently. Prescott would make it to state both years and eventually win it all just last season on an amazing buzzer beater from Peter Brookshaw. Both teams have lost a lot of great talent from last season, so this should be another close and exciting game to look out for.

There is still no score for the Royall @ Westby game, but I’m assuming it was postponed.
All games from Tuesday were also postponed.

All Scores:
Arcadia 46, West Salem 69
No score for BRF @ Westby; could have been postponed.
G-E-T 55, Luther 71

Prescott 74, G-E-T 61 - Prescott held a massive lead at the half after G-E-T went ice-cold from 3. G-E-T finally hit several 3's in the second half, but it was too late. Prescott also couldn't miss from deep. Another case of the Red Hawk's poor offensive consistency.
