Agreed, and don't forget Goodman, its a shame both Laona and Goodman had to play each other, but its good to see three NLC teams make it that far in the tournament. Good luck to both Laona and Three Lakes on friday.

Or maybe I'll say umm a lot and trip over things.

I also want to throw congrats their way. It's always nice to have our neck of the woods do well.

Congrats to both teams on making it this far but I have a feeling that neither is going to get much farther in the tournament. I believe Laona will have a chance, albeit slim, against GB NEW Lutheran. Three Lakes, well... that's another story. I think Marathon beats them by a good 20 points. No offense to Three Lakes but Marathon is by far the best team not located near the Fox Valley, Madison, or Milwaukee Areas.

Wow, thats a bold statement. I guess I don't see the basis of proclaiming Marathon "by far the best team not near the Fox Valley, Madison, or Milwaukee areas." Who have they really beat who could be considered an "elite" team? Prentice was probably they're toughest competition. I'd really like to see them play Antigo or someone. This is going to be a great game, IMHO. Marathon really has no one who can match up inside with Three Lakes. I promise you that Three Lakes will just feed off the underdog role.

Sure, Marathon hasn't played anyone as good as Antigo, but their overall schedule has been much tougher. Prentice and Newman both being alive in their sectionals proves that they have played solid teams already. Not to mention, they beat a good Amherst team by 12, despite missing 17 free throws. Besides, who cares if Three Lakes played Antigo if they were drubbed by 30? All that proved is that Antigo is a much better team, which is what people expected. Anyway, I think Marathon wins by double figures Friday night. Three Lakes has Thorn, but Marathon will have a better starting 5, and has a stud of their own in Hanke.
